This policy explains how LegalDraft Technologies LLC collects, uses, protects, and shares information for FamilyLawGPS. Family-law data is among the most sensitive data there is — the platform is built around that fact.

We collect account information, authentication data, case and intake information you choose to save, uploaded documents in your vault, calculator scenarios and parenting-plan drafts you save, attorney-review request details, support communications, device data, usage logs, consent records, and security and audit events.
The public calculators, builders, and trackers run in your browser and store progress in localStorage on your device — not on our servers — until you create an account and choose to save to a case. You can use most of the platform without an account at all.
We use information to operate, secure, support, and improve FamilyLawGPS; route optional attorney-review workflows; send service communications; maintain audit trails; detect abuse; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. No ad retargeting on family-law facts. No dark-pattern data collection.
The platform is deterministic-first: calculators, document assembly, and reviews run on published formulas, templates, and verbatim law — not on a model. Where an AI-assisted feature runs, it is clearly labeled, processes your information only to organize it or support review workflows, and its output is never legal advice. Where provider controls are available, we configure AI processing to restrict training on customer content.
County and court procedure intelligence comes from BenchPath, the fleet's court-rules engine. Queries to it carry only procedural parameters — county, case type, task — never names, children, incomes, or uploads.
When you request attorney review, the reviewing attorney sees the anonymized case shape first; your organized packet is shared only after both sides sign the attorney's written limited-scope engagement. The attorney is independent and responsible for their own confidentiality obligations under the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar.
Account data lives in an isolated database under owner-scoped Row-Level Security — your rows are readable by you, not by other users, and the app ships no server-side secret that bypasses that boundary. Vault downloads use short-lived signed links. Traffic is encrypted in transit, and security-relevant actions are audit-logged. No online system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
Saved cases default to neutral titles. A quick exit (Escape pressed twice, or the Quick Exit button) leaves the site immediately from every page. Safety concerns route to safety resources before workflow output. Deletion on request.
We share information with service providers that help operate the platform — hosting, database, email, payment (when billing opens), security, and support providers. We may also share information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a business transaction, or with your direction or consent.
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain audit and consent records, support legal and security obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed unless retention is required or permitted by law.
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. Privacy questions or requests may be sent to privacy@familylawgps.ai.
